RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
Replacing Missing Teeth With Modern Restorative Dentistry
With advancements in modern dentistry, millions of Americans no longer have to suffer from missing teeth or loss of function in their mouth. In addition to traditional restorations such as dental bridges to replace missing teeth, we also offer dental implant services to our patients.
Despite improvements in dental care, millions of Americans suffer tooth loss — mostly due to tooth decay, periodontal disease or injury. For many years, the only treatment options available for people with missing teeth were bridges and dentures. But, today, dental implants are also available.
Benefits of Restorative Dentistry
At Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we find that restorative dentistry helps patients live an overall better quality of life. Restorative dentistry restores both the function and appearance of your smile. Advantages of restorative dentistry may include:
Our Restorative Dentistry Services
We are confident that we can restore your teeth and your confidence. In addition to stabilizing it, our dental restorations bring a natural look to your smile. At Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we offer the following:
Dental Implants
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are placed in the bone and designed to support a restoration, such as a crown, while fully functioning during the forces of biting or chewing. Dental implants are posts that serve as the root for a customized crown or bridge. They create a strong support system for restorations. Once in place, dental implants allow us to mount replacement teeth onto them.
ARESTIN® Therapy
ARESTIN® is a professional periodontitis antibiotic treatment applied locally to the infected periodontal pockets. This powder form substance is used to treat infections caused by bacteria typically after a scaling and root planing procedure and for periodontal maintenance for patients.
Dental Fillings
Fillings repair cavities in the teeth. We only use white fillings that are natural in appearance and blend in with your other teeth.
Tooth Extractions
Tooth extractions are a type of oral surgery in which a tooth is removed from the mouth. There are a variety of reasons an extraction may be necessary, including crowding, decay or preparing your smile for dental implants
Root Canals
When a cavity reaches a tooth’s pulp, you will need a root canal. A root canal removes the infected pulp and replaces it with a dental restoration, such as a crown.
